Hi, I’m Jess!

I started up Beanstalks Playgroups in Ryde, 2025 after realising how hard it is for families to access and engage in sensory play. After seeing the incredible community we were able to create through playgroups, I couldn’t be more excited to bring this into Sydney’s Innerwest.

I hold a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, a Play Therapy degree and microcredentials in Supporting Children’s Behaviour using Neuroscience as well as a current Working With Children’s Check, First Aid Accreditation and seven years experience working in the early childhood sector.

At the centre of my personal teaching pedagogy is giving back and empowering children to recognise and explore their emotions. Early childhood education is all about ‘life readiness’, providing children with the social and emotional skills they need to succeed as well as fostering a love of learning through play based experiences.
