Hi, I’m Jess!

I started up Beanstalks Playgroups in Ryde, 2025 after realising how hard it is for families to access and engage in sensory play. I brought playgroups across to Sydney’s Innerwest and since starting playgroup in January, we’ve seen over 500 families join us!! Giving back to the local community is so important to me and something I will always make time for.

I’ve been an Early Childhood Teacher for the past 7 years and hold a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, a Play Therapy degree and microcredentials in Supporting Children’s Behaviour using Neuroscience as well as a current Working With Children’s Check, First Aid Accreditation and seven years experience working in the early childhood sector.

Starting my own childcare centre has been a dream come true and something I am so passionate about. At the centre of my personal teaching pedagogy is giving back and empowering children to recognise and explore their emotions. Early childhood education is all about ‘life readiness’, providing children with the social and emotional skills they need to succeed as well as fostering a love of learning through play based experiences and this is our foundational belief at Beanstalks Early Learning Centre.
