How many classes do you have?

With only 20 children in the entire centre, we are in this incredible position where every family is seen, heard and valued and children have a direct say in what provocations are created each and every day. We do not split children by age groups because we believe that every child has something extremely valuable they bring to a group setting. This creates a safe environment, especially for siblings, as they always have a familiar face there to support them. Vygotsky’s Theory of Proximal Development supports this as children are able to develop and build skills faster when they are around more knowledgeable and experienced children/educators, as well as our older children having a valuable opportunity to build empathy, patience and independence by working with our younger children.

How do you run your program?

We run a project-based curriculum where children, families and educators work together to create projects: different themes that stem from children’s interests, developmental needs or family/community events. We explore each project, supporting children in individual and group projects, providing observations and developmental updates for families. We will talk more about this in your tour and orientation days

Do you have availability?

We currently have vacancies, with the current influx of enquiries, we are taking the time to provide every family with the opportunity to individually see the centre and ask any questions you may have. We are only taking a limited number of enrolments at a time to support children and families in the settling process and ensuring every child is prioritised throughout such a significant transition.
